Mobile Notary FAQs
Do you charge travel fees for mobile notary visits in St. Louis?
Yes. Missouri caps the notary act itself at $5 per signature, but travel is billed separately. Inner-ring St. Louis runs $25–$50; outer suburbs run $50–$100 depending on distance and time of day. We quote the full price before we leave.
What hours does your mobile notary work?
Standard mobile notary availability is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, by appointment.
Do you come out on weekends?
No. Saturday and Sunday appointments are currently unavailable.
Can you notarize at a hospital or nursing home?
Yes. We regularly handle bedside signings at BJC, SSM Health, Mercy, Christian Hospital, and skilled nursing facilities throughout the St. Louis region. The signer must be conscious, alert, and able to communicate willingness to sign — we cannot notarize for anyone who is sedated or unable to acknowledge the document.
Can you notarize at a jail in St. Louis?
Yes. We coordinate jail and detention center signings at the St. Louis City Justice Center, MSI, and county facilities. Plan on 5–7 business days of lead time so the facility can pre-clear our notary and the documents.
How quickly can a mobile notary get to me?
Same-day appointments may be available during regular business hours in the St. Louis metro. Call to confirm current availability.
What ID do I need for a mobile notary appointment?
A current, government-issued photo ID: U.S. driver's license, state ID, U.S. passport, military ID, or permanent resident card. Expired IDs cannot be accepted under Missouri notary law.
