    Poland Apostille & Document Authentication

A Polish diploma, a Polish court record, and a U.S. birth certificate destined for Poland have different preparation routes. Identify where the record was issued and what the Polish recipient is asking you to do with it.

    Polish-issued records

Poland’s designated apostille authorities include the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and specialist educational authorities. NAWA handles covered university qualifications; school and art-school records can fall under different bodies. Do not send every educational document to the MFA.

For notarial and court documents processed through the MFA, the ministry identifies prior certification by the competent court president. Confirm that step before submission.

    U.S. records going to Poland

Arrange authentication in the document’s U.S. jurisdiction of origin. Tell Premier whether the recipient is a civil registry, university, court, or another office, and supply that office’s checklist.

    A specific translation example

Poland’s published foreign-birth transcription guidance requests the original birth record identifying the parents and an official Polish translation by an authorized sworn translator or consul. This is a transcription requirement; do not apply it automatically to every Polish transaction.

    Frequently asked questions

No. Check NAWA’s competence and current submission instructions for the precise qualification.

What should I send for review?

Provide the issuing office, record type, intended Polish procedure, and the receiving office’s written requirements.
